Tip 64 - Is traveling to and from work a business expense?

Travel between your home and office is generally not considered business travel unless you make a legitimate business stop (not just picking up or dropping off the mail) between the two points. Legitimate business stops include meetings with clients, suppliers, bankers, or lawyers.

Maintain a log book to support your business travel in case CCRA questions your determination.
