Tip 74 - What receipts do you need to keep in your records?

While CCRA does not normally question miscellaneous income that you include in your personal tax return, they are more inclined to question miscellaneous deductions you report (i.e. legal fees incurred to enforce payment of child maintenance). Keep supporting documents for such deductions in case CCRA requests proof for your claim. An example of supporting documentation is copies of legal invoices which outline the nature of services received.
