If you claim employment expenses, you may also be eligible for a GST rebate. But note that the GST rebate received must be included as income on your 2002 personal income tax return.
Although you will have to pay tax on the rebate in the year you receive it, you'll have received reimbursement for the GST paid and avoided paying tax on it for one year.
