(Québec) If you are filing a simplified income tax return, you cannot claim certain deductions such as support payments, moving expenses, investment income expenses, deductions for strategic investments, the taxable capital gains exemption, etc. However, you can deduct the lump-sum amount of $2,625, which replaces thirty or more credits and deductions.
